Write about local food and art that you love and want to tell everyone else about.

How to Get Paid:

  • Made With Passion is currently paying $25 per published article on food and art in the Cincinnati or Southern Ohio area.
  • On the day the story is published, you will be payed $25 through PayPal to the email address that you provide.

Desired Topics:

  • Local artists that have a compelling story
  • Local photographers that have a compelling story
  • Local food vendors or food shops that have a compelling story
  • Local beverage vendors or beverage shops that have a compelling story
  • Local restaurants that have a compelling story
  • Local crafts people that have a compelling story
  • Local musicians that have a compelling story
  • Local filmmakers or films that have a compelling story
  • Local writers or books that have a compelling story

How to Get Your Story Published:

  1. Submit a query, describing your proposed topic. Be sure to describe the story angle.
  2. If your query meets the above guidelines, it will be approved by MWP staff.
  3. Once approved, write your story, adhering to the requirements below. Check your facts.
  4. Submit your finished story to the editor.
  5. A MWP editor will work with you to further revise your story for improvements. Usually, only one revision is required.
  6. The story will be scheduled for publishing.

Story Requirements:

  • Each story must be between 400 and 1700 words, approximately.
  • Each story should be as much about the artist as it is about the artwork.
  • Each story must include at least one high quality profile photo.
  • If there is a logo for the company, include a high quality image of the logo.
  • Each story must have a minimum of three high quality photos.
  • Each story should include at least one quote from the artist.
  • Each story must include information on how the audience can sample works from the artist.
  • Each story must have a positive message.
  • Each story must be original, written by you, and not published elsewhere.
  • You cannot submit a story about yourself.
